The DABAMOS Project

The research project Database-oriented Monitoring System (DABAMOS) at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences on sensor control and geodata processing aims the implementation of an open source multi-platform software package for the automation of monitoring measurements.

The deformation monitoring of structures and buildings is an important field of activity of modern engineering geodesy, ensuring the standing and reliability of critical infrastructure through continuous and permanent observations.

The Open Automatic Deformation Monitoring System (OpenADMS) is part of our research, an open-source software platform for sensor control and geo data processing in the Internet of Things.

The development of OpenADMS is possible due to the research project Sensor networks for GNSS-based deformation monitoring (SEGDEMO), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within its “IngenieurNachwuchs” programme.
